GATE/SAS PROGRAM The Gifted and Talented Education/School for Advanced Studies (GATE/SAS) program is a state-funded program provided for students in grades 3-5 who have been qualified through an identification process established by the district. Cowan Gifted Magnet The Cowan Gifted Magnet Center will open in September for the 2009-10 school year. It will feature core curriculum modified for the specific needs of gifted learners, with an emphasis on international studies and humanities.
